Once the ark of a dying world, the Interworld Express and its illustrious Conductor, Birdsong, are now the last link between the eleven remaining worlds. Facing Birdsong’s rapidly declining health and exploitative powers rupturing the spaces between worlds, the motley crew embark on a journey to reforge missing connections between old friends and forgotten homes.
